Taking this a step further - this is a great idea to promote more active and competitive studios.
How about we introduce a "Hostile Takeover" concept
Each Studio has a Buyout Value
Its Value is based on
- Diamonds per total levels of players in studio ( eg 10 players at level 100 each would have 1000 levels each level worth 10 diamonds)
- Expansion percentage of studio overall ( 100,000 diamonds for 100% expanded 1000 diamonds for 1%)
-Age of the Studio ( 1000 diamonds per month the studio has existed)
A Studio buyout can be performed by a studio boss with the cost of the buyout paid as a cost in studio diamonds to the game
The studio does not need to have the space to accept all members in the purchased studio, the studio will be filled by the members in order of level, with those remaining being made studioless
The studio being absorbed does not need approval of the studio leader, It simply happens if another studio has enough diamonds to afford the takeover - this will encourage development of studio facilities and recruitment of players. There is nothing stopping the players from leaving the studio once absorbed, so communication with the studio would help player retention.
Just another take on implementation
