Do the developers think anything through?   The latest temple has us getting 2 points per boss beat in a party.  Thus if a studio of 30 members completed all of their parties for the week, and even did an extra one before reset, the maximum number of points for a studio is 1,440 points  (8 * 30 * 6)?

 

WHY???!!!  How can you implement a temple that cannot reach 3,000 points?  Another fail.  At the least, bosses should have been worth 10 points each or better yet, why try to tweak the party temple at all?

 

Lastly, with the limit of only 1 party per day, this will be an extremely boring week as well as resulting in a ton of ties in the rankings.

There was an update on 15 November 2016 : https://forum.uk.big...otes-2016-11-15which had the change "The minimum requirement of 3000 temple points is no longer required. Now, all studios take part in the temple competition."

Now studios only need 100 points to be ranked in the temple competitions. Although the achievements that require 3000 points still remain.

Another temple that favours only the strongest Studios . How do the lesser Studios cope ? ... those with 1 - 10 players ???? no chance do they have ..  

- 2pts for every party mission , yes possible,  but to reach 100pts to be ranked .. impossible

Studios grow stronger over time, not instantly. The game is a marathon, not a sprint. Also the solo temple has been added, for that any player can grow and earn extras, aside from the studio-temple part.

Mel25, 100 points should be fairly easily achieved.   Should only require 3 players doing their party tickets for a week.   6 points for the 3 bosses per party times 7 days is 42 points.

is anyone ever happy with anything that the BBE devs do? some people on here would complain about finding a thousand dollars on the ground because it wasn't in all 20's...lol

if a particular temple rubs you the absolute wrong way to where you can't stand it so bad, then you have the option to not participate in it. i keep it laid back in my studio when it comes to temple challenges. the difference in the rewards between a few places (for example: 5th place vs 8th place) are not that much and definitely not worth the stress and diamond dropping and whatever else. people spend way more diamonds to win the temple than they actually receive as the reward for winning anyway. so unless you are just determined to have "The Enlighted" title added to your collection or simply MUST own every piece of that gawdy "Servant of the Temple" clothing set, then relax...

I still we still haven't figured out how to do an acceptable point per boss for the upcoming temple.  2 points per boss is WAY too low.

It is yes. The achievement to get 3.000 temple points (combined) can't be done with that temple

That's what I get for typing a post early in the morning before my coffee.   Let me state this with better English.

 

What I was trying to say is that the Boss point value should be at least 10 but hopefully something like 100 points per boss to allow for an acceptable total at the end of the week.

 

I am completely stumped on how we can have 1 temple with millions of points and yet have another that can't even reach 3,000 points if all 30 members got max points.

But that's called variety. We already have the regular party temple with 300 points per party and the studio with 10 players can get the 3k points in less 5 minutes. It would be dull to get the 3k mark every week, no matter what temple it is. On buying SP temple not every studio gets the 3k points either so it's wailing about minor problems in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind if it was difficult to achieve the 3k points but when a perfect by 30 members can only get a max of 1,440 points, something is wrong with the scoring system.

 

Ok, I'm done.  I'll go pout in the corner with my 42 points (not going to bother for the 48).
