Here is a little idea of something that could maybe be added at some point 
adding extra hours to your work while it is still on going.
I usually set my work to a time when i think i will be free to come online and work on missions as i am sure most people do. However a lot of the time i find that work takes longer to do than i planned, or something else comes up that i have to deal with, which means that my work will end and i am unable to be online at the time to add on an extra hour or two.
So! How about being able to add an extra few hours onto your work while it is still in progress? Rather than having to wait for it to finish, and obviously just have the money you earn from it scale to being to amount earned if you had set it to the new number of hours in the first place.
