Playata has announced a temple convention after the panda temple. Please use this note to describe your reaction.

I just announced to my studio that I will be on vacation for a week starting next thursday!

 

I was close to quitting the game back in december when there were 3 (4?) con temples in less than 2 months.

For me they really drain the fun aspect out of the game.

It is getting harder and harder to show up and play every day. There is no fun left in this game.

I simply can't believe it... They would like to drain every bit of joy and diamond out of everyone? Convention temples simply shows to me greed from devs. Guess they have to earn their bonusses for the quarter or something.

 

Still hated to bring it to our team. Once in a while a conv temple is fine, but now? I felt like the messenger of death

Think its an absolutely bad move, devs, pls reconsider the temple. Repeating rapidly the most hated ones will lead to no good. Pls create new ones instead, for variety and for fun, ask and listen to the community. Thx!

Honestly that's ridiculous.

Specially when the top 10 rewards are replaced with useless event crap. There is no point of making a top 10 position in a Convention when we get only same stuff that we also get easily in shop and as film rewards.

it's a good thing i try my best not to cuss this convention temple just makes everyone hate to log on , not a chance of doing well  like fair play on the rest of the temples this one all you need to do is spend money to get on top . really bad move bbe  try making  the game fun .

Safe to say there are scant (if any) players that love the convention week. I certainly do not. I try my best and I don't spend diamonds on it...I still rarely land in the top ten but it can happen. People can spend a thousand diamonds for a top spot to win an item worth maybe 100 diamonds.

Let's take this as a cue to get creative. There have been discussion threads asking for new ideas and I say let's try and get some momentum there. You say the conventions suck, let's invent something better.

Pathetic reasoning from the Devs....!!  .. this kind of attitude will make players leave BBE  and well established players too  and newer players  won't enjoy much either  and we will have 2hr conventions .. who has the time for this ... 

Advice to devs ... ok lets have Conventions ... but only 30minute ones !!!!!

I hate conventions too, but there is one good thing about it (in my opinion): it is good for team building

i really don't understand why there is a need for another convention temple so soon. no one on my team likes them. and the times the convs are at take a lot of sleep away from me. once in a while i'm fine to take that for my Studio, but that's just to much. they ruin the fun in this game more and more with decisions like that

I don't think I can take another Convention Temple with 90% 2 hour conventions again this soon. 

 

I'm not sure the benefit of the bonding that these temples create when the bonding is all based around shared abuse at the hands of the Devs

I play this game since 2 month and it was really fun to play the TT every week, but not the conv. TT last week. i see the dislike of the comunity and i can understand it. When the devs dont hear the community they maybe destroy their game

I think it's no the best idea to make convention temple again and again and again... You should make some changes this time, be more creative and don't make this game boring, please...

Hey BBE, since you are so much into soccer for some reason (too bad I don't give a damn about soccer and play BBE anyway) that you make even two events about it, why don't you change the upcoming temple to skill missions with the 3 points for stamina? It would at least match the 100 stamina mission task in the current, second event.

It's never too late to change and I think, I'm not the only one who would really appreciate that.

 

But if it has to be conventions, then please lower their duration to one hour at least and keep the event items out of the winning and top 10 rewards.

Hard to believe that no one has said anything how disappointing (being nice...) that BBE is doing Conventions so soon again.  I wonder if they are throwing darts or spinning a wheel to do this stuff since there is no creativity on how the Temple challenges are being done.  It would be one thing if they did a YouTube vid to show how the they are being chosen like doing some randomizing algorithm or something to show that the process is fair and being monitored.  I've done conventions to help my avatar and the studio but this is feeling like greed more than fair competition.  I will be reluctant to do this challenge if I see that the studio also agrees as well.  There are still the other missions, films, duels, and parties to help the avatar to be better than the conventions.  Thanks for posting the challenge, DP.  Rather slap the people who come up with this crap than you.  If I knew who, I'd be attacking their avatars every day.

I may be sick during the convention times.  Seems like that this is greed over common sense or fair competition.  Need a better system or monitoring so that the same challenges aren't repeated or done too soon after it was done.  This is ridiculous.  Can we please be given the avatar name to pound on?  I want to go happy slappy on someone's avatar and take GP off it if I can.

Only ignoring can help us to stop these convention temples. But some studios spend a lot of money to win, so for dev's they are very valuable.
