Hi, I know there is at least one topic asking about flash from a while ago, but as of this morning, I straight up can't access my game because flash is completely blocked and where I could previously allow it for this game alone, I can't do that now.

Are the developers working on a non-flash version? I have put years into this game by now, and for all of us to lose all of that effort because of flash being cut off is a bit too much for me. I already lost 3-4 months of gameplay once before because I couldn't figure out how to make my browser accept flash. One day it just started working again, so I thought the devs had fixed something. I'm not willing to lose months again, I will just quit the game this time if it isn't going to matter anyway. If there's nothing to replace flash, all of these in-game updates aren't going to mean anything, because apparently flash won't be an option in a year or two and one day *none* of us will be able to access our games.

I think it's really getting down to crunch time. With all the money they make from diamond purchases, I would expect that they could keep the game going. Does anyone know what's going on on that front?

Usually this is due to your browser changing how it handles flash. You might have to check into your browser extensions, and give permission to run flash.

Thanks Capt, I figure as much will solve this problem temporarily. However, I looked into Flash itself and the fact that it is being deliberately made redundant and will be blocked entirely within the next year or two. So my real question pertained to the game itself and whether devs are working on rebuilding it as a non-Flash game. Doesn't matter if I can get it working again now, as it has only drawn my attention to the fact that whatever work I put into it between now and 2019-2020 is going to be moot if the game literally disappears due to being built of Flash, which no browser will support in future.

Hope that makes sense, sorry for run on sentences.

Getting you running is my first concern.

I don't know what if any plans there are for non-Flash versions.

My guess (and its only a guess) is that HTML5+ will allow the game to run "in browser" without the need for flash using a series of embedded server applets. It wont take much work to convert the game to this structure. Adobes stance on the end of life for flash is still a long way off so its a little early to be terribly concerned about it. I will see if there is an official position on long term future plans regarding the games platform for you and post any news here.

Getting you running is my first concern.
