It seems to depend on the length of time you chose and how quickly you complete the film.

Why is it that some films have more fans than others despite that they are all three stars?

Does it really matter? I do two films a day and sometimes half an hour is all I've got.

I could see where logically choosing a longer time takes more patience and effort and therefore has greater fans rewarded.  It makes sense.

It most certainly does, a half hour or hour is okay but longer ones require a bit more attention, in my opinion and I can only do those when I'm not doing any real life things.

I would also like to add the choice of clothing items... I don't know this for sure, but it seems logical xD

The amount of fans are already set, when I did a film this morning, they were all half an hour and different amounts of fans.
