Players often ask me "how to play the game?".

So I prepared the following info for them and which is being posted here for everyone.

GETTING TO THE TOP

Obviously one has to make as much glory as possible through duelling.

Start with the highest player above you whom you can defeat, hit them 2X (a 3rd hit is usually in the opponent's favour) and move successively down the glory list. Do this as often as your "courage" will permit. (This assumes you are using the main glory list, not the "duelling list"). Sometimes you will only pick up 1 or 2 glory points but, in the end, every point counts.

So, a first step is to join a studio which holds a couple of courage trophies (thus providing you with extra courage).

Your stats need to be built up to hit the "heavier" players (and to prevent your own glory being decreased through "heavier" players hitting you).

Use a skill booster to boost your stats (ALWAYS have the 25% skill booster active; 50% if you get the diamonds for it although, at the beginning, it's better to spend such diamonds on a 50% mission booster).

Tips for Increasing Stats:

-By increasing your level you gain points for allocation to stats, so level up as quickly as possible.

-Some movie productions award stat points (one should be in a studio which offers all the movie production facilities to derive this benefit).

-Buy stats by earning notes (this means a compromise between spending your energy on missions for notes or experience).

-Maximize your skills by joining a studio which has their FACILITIES fully opened (at 50).

-Earning notes and/or experience is enhanced by joining a studio which has its MOTIVATION and/or POPULARITY fully opened (at 50).

-Extra energy is available for more missions/day if you are in a studio that holds energy trophies.

-Look out for success awards granting skill points and gain these first if possible.

-Finally, always be on the lookout for skill improvement items obtainable in the shop, at parties and conventions and from movie production.

Movie production is a vital component of the game. The more movies you produce the more fans you gain, which opens up party facilities and also permits more skill improvement items (and sometimes skill points) to be earned.
