Why are there two versions of the game? There is the one I'm playing now in Facebook and a browser version and can you have an account in both? When I try to switch from the forum to the game I am prompted to make a new account or to log in and I can't log in from my Facebook account so why is the option even there?

There are people who don't have a Facebook account and that option exists so that everyone can play. You can choose whether you want to play it on Facebook or on browser, and if you want to play on your browser, you have to make an account first.

If you want to play the same character through FB and through the direct browser link, you'll need to unbind your account by going to the options menu>account>unbind...

nop,

And have one account on facebook + one account on browser version is not allowed since it's the same server, only 1 account per server and per personn is allowed.

 

So if you want play on both (facebook / browser ) you can unbin your account as advised before
