I have noticed the tattoos change legs on the mission screen when you are waiting for a skill mission they switch legs.......

The original position for the art in the character viewer and shop is left arm propped on hip and pelvis facing right... to save re-drawing the character facing the other way, as it appears in battle and in the after mission on skills, the art was simply flipped horizontally... that's why the tats seem to move, you probably just never noticed it before because there was no visual cue... I notice these things because I'm an amature artist...
