     ***important note - your image must not be  larger than 350 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall***

 

first you have to have the image saved to your computer and up-load it to imgur (imgur .com... remove the space) or another image hosting service *** or*** if someone else prepares the image they must provide you the url for posting

 

take the url the service (or person) provides and copy it into your 'clipboard' (right click on it and pick 'copy')

 

go to the forum.

 

go to your characters name in black bar at top of screen

choose 'My Settings'

choose 'Signature'

choose 'enter url'

 

place cursor on the url entry box, right click and choose 'paste'

 

choose preview to check positioning, you can add spaces if needed by placing cursor ahead of pic

 

confirm and save by choosing 'save button'

 

I usually go to a thread I recently posted on to make certain it displayed correctly.

***clarification***

 

the box you 'paste' the url into, pops up when you choose this icon...
