Simple:

 

There's no confirm button for diamond spending.

 

I've clicked buttons to spend diamonds on accident a good 4-5 times so far.

 

There's no way I'm spending real money on this game when you can't make sure that you're spending it on what you want.

I've kind of made it a personal rule not to use real money in any games!
I honestly think not buying in-game currency makes you a better player in the long run,

 

It just takes a lot more patience...

I so agree. The believe it's done on purpose for you to accidentally spend diamonds though.

And I have accidentally clicked on those buttons countless times. xD

   I'm stuck with buying my attributes for my own permanent use. What 'boss' wants to spend so early in the game? My boss just left the studio, and made me boss. I can't spend either. Not until I start work again after my surgery. It leaves desire for the way the game could be arranged, as in getting diamonds into the studio. I suggest they allow 'earned' diamonds to be included, even for the members to add. That way if everyone runs out of diamonds and the studio gets stuck, the option to purchase comes up. Not the other way around. The members would multiply quicker. The game would be immediately popular. But this is a wrench in the gear. I donated a butt load of dollars when this wasn't a problem. Until this gets fixed, I have to protect my player by buying my attributes personally, and the rate per point is raising pretty quick. This situation is poop. I wish this would be one of their "improvements". Every time an "improvement" comes up, I research it to find out if they fixed this problem. Only to be disappointed again...

I wasn't going to buy diamonds but then I started buying them to update my studio and as soon as I buy them they are donated to my studio immediately. Diamonds that I earn are used within the game of course.
