My current disgruntlement in what is otherwise a nicely developing game,
revolves around the excessive costs in refinement of items.
Admittedly, this is what gives a diamond player their advantage most
however
When The reaction I just experienced to gaining an epic item with better stats
than my current equipment comes to surface it makes me take a back step.
That reaction, and I am sure most of you have guessed already, was
"Oh Crud, Not another erm... darn item to erm... jolly refine"
I was fairly sure when I started this game I got happy at items with better stats...
SO....
I Propose an adjustment to the game mechanics in regard to refinements.
It can take a diamond player anywhere up to 400,500,600 diamonds
to eventually get the refinement they require to fit their player build.
And that is on each item.
F2P (Free to Play) characters currently get one (yes ONE) refinement every 24 hours.
Not only is it impossible to create a set worth wearing that is suitably refined,
But it is grossly imbalancing the game as a result.
Keep the advantage for diamond players by all means, but don't destroy the game for others.
Something along the lines of 20 refinements every 24 hours would be a suitable adjustment
I expect that this would allow players to refine one or two items a day to reasonable effect.
For the competitive players out there, that would keep it enjoyable - nobody likes
wasting diamonds on something that just gets canned in a week anyway
because all your other equipment is 100+ stat points better than your refined stuff.
