Yay!  I'm a big fangirl, the prequels were a letdown (3 especially) and I totally get the Yoda hate, he was awful in I-III, but the original trilogy is right in my retro zone (including original Yoda) and I'm a total I-wanna-be-Ahsoka from the tv series.

Okies, what next... oh I know, Lie To Me: Birthday Edition!  (party)  (I don't mean it's my birthday, I just had the idea randomly) In chronological order:

1. On my 4th birthday (which is one of the earliest things I remember) I got super shy at all the people paying attention to me, and hid under a table.

2. 15th birthday I went to a go-kart track, and just had no idea about driving and kept putting the darned thing into a wall (I mean how am I supposed to know about turning under brakes, do they just expect people too young to have a driving license know how to drive anyway?)

3. 23rd birthday (actually not perfectly on it, but within a few days, near enough) I entered in the amateur striptease contest at the Sexpo exhibition... and didn't win but whatever, I did it, that's what counts.  (grin)

Okay, I figure I'll keep bonding with you since nobody else is around...

I am going to go for 1.

Why? Because I think you just might be the sort of person to do 3 (despite my initial doubts...). You seem to be someone who likes a bit of adventure, and I guess it could be within the realm of reason that you'd do something like that. (I just made sure to google the Sexpo thing, and I guess that it exists Down Under, making it extra reasonable that you have even been there).

I think 2 would be an odd lie, though I suppose you could do a mean one and have done the exact same thing on some other day than on your 15th birthday...

Why 1? It feels a bit too mundane, though I suppose you could keep it in mind if your family has photos or if it is a funny family anecdote.

So I don't think 1 is right (despite my prejudices about nerds making it the most plausible based on at least some of your interests  (lol) ).

Boy, this game is really tough when you don't really know someone... All are plausible, but I think 2 and 3 are true. I bet you're really that modern sort of nerd who isn't super shy and awkward and never was... Anyway, based on my guess about 2 and 3, that makes the mundane one the odd one out.

Let's see if I do know anything about Kaitee...

Very good guesses, and you even guessed I'd be mean and sneaky and make it the date not the 'fact' that was a lie, but for the wrong one: I did do the Sexpo contest, but it was way later in the year than my birthday.  FYI, striptease not as easy as it looks, it was a total impulse thing so I wasn't dressed for it, you need to pick clothes that aren't awkward to get out of without looking like a twit.  Yup, I did hide under the table, there aren't any photos, I just remember it because I don't really remember anything else from that far back.  I feel kinda bad about being that sneaky, from now on I'm promising the lies will be straight-up not technicalities.

Jason (and anyone else) we could always do this that everyone can play any time they like - try to spot whatever lie is going, or do a challenge of your own. It's not a super busy thread, I don't think it would be a problem if there is more than one set of facts at once, we can just try to answer whatever's there, and then nobody's left out. Worth a shot?

Okay so I gotta lie again, no sneak this time.  Lie To Me: Superhero Edition!

1. I use halloween as an excuse to cosplay superheroes (I've never actually done a halloween costume that's been scary in any way come to think of it).

2. I have met Chris Hemsworth, back when he was doing Home and Away (he looks fiiiiiiine).

3. I once had some fan art I did published in an official Marvel comic.

I think I'll give it a go...

I find #2 very plausible, as you are both from the same country and it could have had locations close to you.

I think #3 is possible, but it probably isn't easy to get your artwork chosen to appear in a comic book

Regarding #1 If you are a superhero fan wanting to dress up as your favorite superhero for Halloween does sound plausible but with the amount of female superheroes out it is more limiting than male superheroes, but then again you could always switch it up.

I'm going to go with #1 as the lie because I'm thinking you might not be a big enough superhero fan to be one pretty much every Halloween. And what girl doesn't want to be a little witch for Halloween at least once. I could be dead wrong, but I like this topic just never posted anything on it.

Well it's not every halloween forever, but recent years yeah, I do the hero thing. Never done a witch it's true, but I think just because when I was growing up halloween wasn't really a thing, there weren't parties or anything. I think that's just normal for Australia, it's not a big deal for kids I don't think, I only started paying attention once I was an adult (I mean older anyway, I dunno if I can call myself "adult" without someone laughing,or not "mature adult" anyway) and still halloween is really just an excuse to hang out with a bunch of people like you'd do any night, but wear something silly this time. For what it's worth I am kinda thinking witch this year, just Enchantress from Suicide Squad (the creepy dance version, not the dirty corpse version).

In fact the lie was meeting Chris Hemsworth, you can tell I've never met him because he's still out in public, not chained up in my flat  (inlove) Truth is I never watched Home and Away at all, I didn't know he existed until Thor. (And only after that someone pointed out, he was Kirk's dad as well, and I was no way, that was him? Whatever workout he did was worth whatever it cost.) (The art was just a tiny coloured sketch and on a letters page with a bunch of other people's art, not a big deal, but it was pretty cool, pity nobody else at school I knew really was into comics to notice, but anyway.)

Okay new lies time, since I mentioned school, let's do Lie To Me: School Edition! (nerd)

1. I only ever scored one goal in all the games of football (soccer back then) we played in school sports, but it won that game so that was pretty cool.

2. I chose all my high school subjects based on someone I had a gigantic crush on doing those classes.

3. I once ran for student council without any kind of plan at all (I got like three votes so I guess plans are important huh).

I'm not sure wich one is the lie, but I'm guessing the ...  (think) ... 3rd one is the lie. I don't have any methods for it so I keep it short  (lol)

Good guess (it does sound made up) but no, the truth is I never scored any goals at all, because I suck at team sports  (loser) (I like individual ones where you can just get on with what's in front of you and not have to worry about what everyone else is doing.)

Okay some new maybe-facts, so... Lie To Me: Performing Arts Edition!

1. I got to be in a condensed version of Les Mis at school (my singing's not so great, but I had a couple of (replica) pistols to fight on the barricades with so that was pretty cool).

2. I was Martha in a one-scene performance of Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf (at school again) and shouted the hell out of George, seriously whatever the book says, I won that argument.

3. I was once in a completely improvised play about a superhero including unrehearsed Matrix-style bullet-time fight scenes (we sucked as much as you'd expect with no practice).

I'm gonna go with #3 as the lie just because it makes too many superhero related truths. Again I could be wrong but why not try.

Now that you mention it yeah, I'm not like an uber superhero fan or anything (at least I don't think so), but I guess it does keep coming up. That one was true, there was literally no script and no deciding anything ahead of time, we were just making stuff up as we went along. The lie was Virginia Woolf, we did study it once (I can't actually remember what it was about, except "George" and "Martha" because of the Washingtons (that's right isn't it?), and they argued, so I guess I wasn't paying much attention) but never acted it or anything.

Okay I'll try something different now, Lie To Me: Fashion Edition!

At some point in the last seven days, I have worn (not all at once):

1. Black leggings

2. Stiletto 4" heels

3. A pale blue one piece swimsuit

Aw, thanks!  (grin) And you are correct, although the actual reason I had in mind when I thought that up is that we're still a little way off from proper summer weather so I'm not going anywhere near the water right now (I did have a pale blue swimsuit when I was in school though, but even though I'm still short I'm not that small that I could still wear it if I had it, not comfortably anyway).

You win so it's your turn, lie to us!

Yay I finally got one!

Lie to Me: Celebrity Edition!

1.) Through work I have met several celebrities. To name a few: I have met Gilbert Gottfried (voice of Iago from Aladdin is probably most famous role most people would know). Not as loud and obnoxious in person. I have met Belinda Carlisle minus the rest of the Go-Go's, kind of a diva. I have met Ice T and his wife Coco (most notable Law and Order: SVU if you don't pay attention to his rap career).

2.) I received backstage passes to a Martina McBride concert and was able to meet her. It was only for a few minutes, but it was the best experience I've ever had. By the way I am a huge country fan, mainly female artists.

3.) Me and my friends got crappy tickets to a concert which featured Blondie as one of the acts. We complained to the Stadium Manager and were able to get Mosh Pit access. We didn't really get to talk to her at all, but she did come over to our area and we were able to do the whole touching hand in a crowd thing which was cool none the less.

Which one is the LIE...

Thinking cap on...

Okay so 1 has so much detail in it that seems like it'd be a lot of work to make up. But in a way that actually makes me more suspicious of it, since it seems so unlikely. So maybe you have met all those people, but it wasn't through work? Or you do meet celebrities through work, but not those ones? Am I overthinking it?  :D

I have actually met all those people. I was only serving food to them so it wasn't for very long. My job is room service in a hotel and they all performed there. Just a job for now until I decide what I want to do but I guess I get to meet some interesting people sometimes so isn't incredibly that bad.  The LIE was #2 with some partial truth to it. I have been to a Martina Mcbride concert and do love country, but never met her or had backstage passes.

SO I GUESS I GET TO GO AGAIN....

Lie to Me: Playata Edition!

1.) After I had started playing this game I decided to make a character on each of the other Playata games (Operation X and Hero Zero) to check them out, but was too attracted to this game to really give them a chance.

2.) Even though I had started playing this game in October of last year with a different character on UK1 this character is the only one I've been able to reach level 200. I have had other characters over level 100 though.

3.) I have made over 10 characters for this game between the UK and US servers, but this one is the only one I pretty much stuck with.

Well played!  (smug)

Okay now... Number one I think sounds plausible, I've thought about trying out the other games as well, on the basis of this is a really well made game, it makes sense that their other games would be well made as well (the only reason I haven't is just, the porn star theme is so different, it feels special). Number two, also plausible, 200 isn't easy even if you do play for a long time, you really have to work at it. Number three, I actually don't know how new character creation goes, I came to the game through facebook so my character is the only one I have because it's on the only account I have, but I know people can have different characters on different servers, and maybe playing the game on its own site you can just create a new login whenever, like people do in Diablo and stuff.

I'm gonna go with 3, maybe you've made other characters, but 10 or less, not over 10?

I have actually made over 10 characters on this game. Like I stated I have been playing since October. I've gotten bored of the characters I've created so many times I delete start over maybe on a different server maybe not. On the android app you don't even need an email to create a character, so I tried out characters through that way before I committed to associating any email with any of them.

This is the only character I have invested time and money into to making a relatively successful studio on UK2, so that is probably why this one has stuck.

The Lie is #1 I have actually never even tried to play Operation X and only played a few days on Hero Zero cause a studio member had suggested it on UK1.

Lie to Me:  Family Edition

1.) I have a brother and sister.

2.) I have only been to 1 funeral which was my Grandmother who unfortunately recently passed away from Cancer.

3.) I am the eldest grandchild on both my Mother and Father's side of the family.

Oh, a tough one....

I am going to go with 3 as the lie. Mostly a guess, but I'm sure you have an older cousin or sibling somewhere, Scarlet.

Anyway, not much to go on. Any one of them could be true since I have no idea how big your extended family is (let alone how many siblings you might have). So yeah, I don't think you're the oldest kid in the pack.

Hooray! Power to the guesswork!

All right, here's a literary (I suppose) thematic three statements about my taste in books:

1. My attitude towards the Harry Potter books was one of "meh, an okay waste of time, and I guess it's good to know what the fuss is all about"

2. I absolutely hate everything Twilight

3. I love Catch-22 and think that it is one of the greatest books of all time.
