Hi, I was wondering what are the requirements to obtain an epic item from conventions? Is there a certain number of shows you have to perform or is it random?

Have you been able to gather any  more information on this? I just did my first convention and did 107 shows spent an obscene amount of gems and received nothing but mission failure and a paltry amount of experience.  What a complete waste of time and money

When you take part in a convention, you are also playing in competition with other members. After you complete each convention mission your rank is displayed. This gives you an idea of where you stand in the competition. The top ten are those who have most chances of winning awesome epic items. And yes sometimes it requires a lot of spending in order to make it to the top. However if you do not place in the top ten you will also get rewards in terms of notes and experience. what was your rank in the convention this time?

also, not every item given as a prize is epic or even rare... that part is random, though the top 10 have the best chance, since they do receive an item...

that is  so unfair in game - you reach top 10 and gives you a common or rare item...it must be some  acceptable decision for that type of ranking events,becouse some players spend big amount of diamonds and cash....in replace of that they get items that are for low ranked (10+ place) players...THAT IS UNFAIR...

I will certainly pass along your feed back. No matter what level or rank you are the classification of the item is going to be random even in conventions unless you are the winner or have the winning show (last hit).  The gear "drops" are random but thank you for the feedback and I will make sure it is passed along.

I have never gotten anything but epic items in the top 10 and to get there you do not need diamonds.

Two little questions for clarification:

• Can somebody explain how the winning show works? Last one to perform a show on the convention?
• The reward item is completely random (out of the top10)? Is it the same to end 11th or 32nd? I noticed that generally the more shows you make the better item you get, but I would like to have an official answer on this.

As I understand it, the Top 10 by damage done get the listed item, the person with the last completed hit that does damage is the 'Winner' and receives the item listed for the winner, and everyone who hits and does damage receives a prize usually somewhat consistent with the amount of damage they actually caused... this prize may consist of notes, diamonds, skill points, or an item(s).

 

Usually, there will be some combination of notes and skill points in this prize, it seems to be somewhat random whether it also contains items or diamonds.

 

(This 'information' is based entirely on my observations of the game, and may not be accurate, but I thought you deserved an answer ASAP)

True but you'll never make the top 10 without the 50% booster which will cost you 99 diamonds a week.
