Just wondering, why didn't the PVP experience award count for the Experience Temple?  I would have thought the points would be included much like the experience points earned from selling temple which gave me a quick 10k points.  Granted I didn't need a 400k head start, but it would have been an interesting strategy.

PVP was over before the temple started. I also avoided the ranking list in the last four hr before reset to collect the PVP-XP only after the new temple was on. Bummer it didn't count but I believe the next will. Slap the opponents like it's duel temple to make top 10 in PVP, then be online after the PVP ends and before the temple ends to collect the XP and make sure it counts - if it counts at all.

This might be, because both are seperate and perhaps indeed due to the timing. Also unfortunately, since the pvp is very new, we don't yet know how this will behave near the end of the current temple. As you said, the pvp resets before the temple, so it might be this week, but there is no guarantee yet, it's too new.

I would like to check the status of the situation that the PVP experience points could effect the XP TEMPLE currently taking place.

i wonder if someone could contact playata to confirm this situation either way.

i do not believe the points from the PVP competition should count for 2 reasons . firstly the pvp competition began before the temple competition began therefore it was possible to score (temple points before the temple began) and also we could have the situation that a level100 player could win the pvp competition and score less XP or temple points than someone that is level500 and finishes 999 in the pvp competition .

this cannot be allowed to happen . we want new players to join our game and improve and stay but if this is allowed to happen the rules will be totally changed to help higher level players . giving newer players no will or enthusiasm to carry on.

 

come on playata get something right.lets start heading in the right direction and make big bang empire great again.

I can see both sides of the argument.   On one side, this is strategy much like doing starting a Party before the reset and then continuing it after the temple starts so that you can do 8 parties in a week.

 

I tried to do the same with the PVP reward in case others would be doing the same.  The problem I see if that only the highest level players would benefit from this and we really want newer players to enjoy this game for years to come.

 

Had I received my 447,000 exp reward for 30% PVP, I would be in 3rd place in the temple after 2 days even if I didn't do a single click. 

 

Thus, I believe that is quite unfair.

The pvp ends 3 hours before the temple, so if it would count, this would be like a last finish stretch. 

 

But... I agree with Wuffy... I prefer it not counting actually.

 

Currently there's kinda a balance between temples advantaging nobody, advantaging low levels and temples advantaging high levels. It kinda scaling each other out. Face it, buying temples advantage low level players for example.

 

But... we won't know until Wednesday, but I do hope it doesn't. I believe it will be too damn difficult to buffer against at the end of the temple, as they can never know how much that amount of XP is for the higher levels.

It's 4 hours between end of PVP and end of temple on UK servers.

According to the German forum, the previous PVP already did indeed count for temple - but only those who neither collected the reward nor done any duel in those 4 hours got the temple points so it pretty much looks like it will count again - this time for those who collect the reward within those 4 hours before the temple ends.

 

The XP temple favors high level players in general, the upcoming party mission temple is a handicap for beginners too, since players with less 1 million fans can't complete a party in the first place, so it's never really fair. It always benefits either those who buy their success with diamonds or high level players.

The only fair temple that is not buyable is the 3-Star movie temple but that comes once in a blue moon.

On US servers, this 'trick' did not work. Someone tried and didn't collect, but it did not count. 

 

As for the non-buy able fair temples, let's also add:

• 1 point per energy used on timed missions

• 1 point per skillpoint bought (favours low levels as their skills are still very cheap, but there is some balance in it)

• 1 point for each Film Energy point used.

• 2 points for every star earned in a film.

• 1 point per used energy on fight missions.

• 1 point for each Film Energy point used.

• 1 point for every film point.

 

Let this be mentioned, film temples favour film trophy studios, generally those that are strong and can keep them, and spent on staying strong

 

There may be more out there, but this is basically what I took from this years' temple thread. I believe collecting is still diamond usage.

Those still favor players who refresh film offers with diamonds to always get a 3h film and potential skip the waiting hours to complete them within 24h  if the studio has film trophies.

It's kinda ridiculous to drop a 30 minutes film with up to 9 SP for a 3h film with 0 SP to maybe get 2 or 3 SP more from the temple^^ and it's way too expensive to get always both. 

We managed to hang on regular with 3 film       (6 films per day) but I just did stick with My minimal 4SP per film strategy (24 or more SP per day just from films) regardless how long the films were since that brings a whole lot more SP (with 3 film trophies usually about 190-200 SP per week, without trophies 90-100 SP per week) than the temple (max. 46 SP per week with team and solo win).

So temple is not everything.  

Now with casual play I personally still go for most SP per film but no more refreshes. I just take the shortest possible film if there aren't any SP in the offers.

Ah yep, you are right. Doesn't really happen a whole week you only get 3hr movies shown right away of course.

 

My main always was as well a minimum of 4sp per movie period. I didn't accept anything less
