I have noticed since coming back to the game that many things have improved and got a lot better. One suggestion I would like to make (if it is possible) Would it be a viable option for a later update if we could some way donate unwanted items to our teams? This way smaller level players can use them, and this maybe will also encourage players to join studios :)

We have had this discussion a few times, if you check around the forums.

It is generally concluded that this is a game balance issue. Dominant studios get the best stuff, and if they could hand it down to their players, they would get even more dominating. There is also the question of inheriting gear that provides achievements. How should the game handle that?

The other thing about donations is the level of the items. A level 50 player wearing gear from a level 300 player would have a huge stat point advantage.

The only way this would work would be having level requirements for all items kind of like Diablo.   I don't think this game needs another layer of complexity behind the scenes.

I do wish studios had some way to utilize all of the notes that have been donated by active or departing players.  In my studios we have 57 million notes and 127 million notes with nothing to use the notes on.

It's a good idea. They can add a level cap and stat percentage reduction to it.

Level 300 donation cap to minimum level 200 with a stat reduction of 50% and the donated clothing cannot be refined.

Still a hard thing to balance with require of testing before being rolled out.

Are you saying that an item that is refined, is not eligible for trade?

I think the only thing that makes sense for game balance, would be to re-roll the stats for the item as if the gifted player had just found it. But that kind of defeats the purpose of passing things around, for any other reason than completing sets.

Yes an item that is refined cannot be traded. And the item you donate cannot be refined by the receiver.

no it is not a good idea at all. that means that someone from studio x at level 10 can join B&H or SR and just be given freely some upper tier gear? there is NO way BBE is gonna take all that money we put into refinements for items and refreshing the shop by itself multiple times or wasting time trying to complete collections or any of that stuff that generates revenue, just slip thru their fingers, plus it also means that someone could create an alt and "donate" all their good stuff to themselves or to a brand new player and noone would even know. ever notice how when you reach a certain level it says "new items available in the shop!" that means work for it or shell out them debit card numbers...BBE devs, for lack of a better phrase, "thought of everything" when they created this game. we may as well just start swapping trophies with other studios while we are at it. you have to earn the good stuff, if you got so many "unwanted items, then based on BBE's mindset.....BUY some storage and sell it during the next temple. BBE isn't about generosity (from the dev's eyes at least) that's why you get like 10000 diamonds during level 1-50 or whatever but can't donate them to expand your studio...i'd love to walk into my own studio as a n00b without a clue how to play and someone donate some of the stuff i have on right now...then i wouldn't have to do or spend anything. lol not gonna happen, sorry.
