We all love getting married, and having multiple partners is great, but after a while some of them may leave the game, and they become 'deleted'.

Im starting this discussion to see what people think about possible ideas to improve this and get rid of those 'deleted' partners without having to break the bank to get divorce papers and be forced to divorce ALL of your husbands and wives!

OPTION 1:

I propose the game introduce new cheaper individual divorce papers that allow you to divorce individuals rather than ALL partners, even if that is just those that are 'deleted' - although I think those should be allowed to go for free!

OPTION 2:

A more fun and interesting option would be to turn the 'deleted' rings into 'widow' or 'widower' rings and allow you to keep them in your inventory as new style rings for a 'remembrance' collection or something, but remove them from your count of 10 marriages to allow you to marry someone else if you so wish!

These are just my ideas.  Please feel free to comment or add further ideas below, and maybe they will be passed onto the developers to further updates!

Love Blue!

I will contend to my dying day that there is nothing in GDPR which requires the game to remove shared information. The fact that someone, somewhere, once used a particular name for a fictional character is NOT subject to GDPR restrictions. Even if there was, that information is now part of my body of knowledge, and there are exceptions in GDPR for when one party wishes to remove access to shared information.

*I* own the damn wedding ring. If my partner leaves the game, they have not left my heart. Removing that player's name from MY RING, is inappropriate vandalism.

So, Option 3 - Keep the name.  Id be more than happy with that.  My two 'deleted' loves were my originals and while they no longer play, I would love to still have them to remember.  That links in a bit with my second option, and keeping the name with the 'widow/widower' would make it even more special!

I like the idea of a Widow ring with the deleted player's name still attached to it. You're right, Blue, it adds a degree of sadness and hurt when that special someone ends up as only "Deleted" nomenclature.
