I think the following is correct. As a player levels, they get:

 

• refinements at level 25
• 2nd inventory tab at 35
• washing machine at 50
• storage tabs/3rd inventory/outfits at 65

 

What other life events should we add, if we wanted to come up with a comprehensive calendar?

This is a list of the levels and area / activities that I had compiled from the forum.

 

Level   area / activity

 

   8    able to shoot films

  10    missile slot unlocked

  15    you can find the ballots on missions

  20    6 new inventory slots

  25    Sewing machine 

  25    Misty's Atelier

 

  40    DickStarter

  40    6 new inventory slots

  40    Parties?

 

  50    Washing machine

  65    Outfit manager

Might as well include party stuff, even though not strictly level based:

 

BURNING BERNIES: Part 1- 50K, Part 2- 500K and Part 3- 1M

FLAMING WHEELS: Part 1-400K, Part 2-800K and Part 3-1.6M

WHIPLASH: Part 1 - 1.2M, Part 2 - 2.4M and Part 3 - 4.8 M

 

And area unlocks:

 

Colourful Diversity opens at level: 15

Los Vergeles opens at level: 30

Industrial Area opens at level: 70

The Port opens at level: 110

Beach opens at level: 150

Beverly Humps opens at level: 200

Shangri-La opens at level: 250

Camp 69 opens at level: 300

Ah, Tara's note says we get the first storage tab at level 40.

Most likely, Nicelee.  I was intending this as a master list to remind us when we post a faq item, to make sure we mention when it becomes active.  But it seems to be useful in and of itself.
