The following changes were deployed today (2018-10-30):

New Features

General

• With the all-new decoration feature, you're now able to decorate your living room!

• You can find Sensual Room Scents in Missions, which allow you to open Deco Boxes.

• Each Deco Box contains either a new random decoration, or a random epic item.

• In total, you can unlock 218 decorations in 19 categories.

• Other players who look at your profile will see your decorations. In the settings, you can also choose to display your decorations to your opponents during duels, and to yourself in fight missions.

• In the character screen, you will find a button to show or hide the game interface. With this, you can see your star in the full glory of your new living room!

• When skipping dating or career boss tasks, a new confirmation dialogue pops up to clearly display the costs of skipping the tasks.

 

 

 

Maintenance

General

• In the preview tooltip in films, common items have been displayed as epic items. This has been fixed.

• Several issues with the studio chat have been fixed.

• The "Next player" button in studio fights has been offset or not visible at all. This has been fixed.

• Sometimes graphics "jumped" when an item was dragged to the sewing machine. This has been fixed.

• When looking at another player's profile, it was possible that your own inventory was displayed. This issue has been fixed.

• The "!" mark in the outfit screen prevented selecting the item slot. This has been fixed.

 

 

 

Mobile

• The font size of the studio chat has been increased.

 

 

 

Steam

• Frequently, the notification "Simultaneous Login" popped up by mistake. This has been fixed.

• Several smaller issues have been fixed.

Just,.. opening deco boxes dont work, they show up some random epic item, not a deco item, and they disappear.

Anyone noticed this too?

I just found the same thing, it gave me a epic item, yet it vanished and not to be seen anywhere

Please submit tickets to support about the items. I myself lost an item here too, can't find it back. But don't have time to report it lol

The items in general the boxes are not a bug, read the patch notes:

 

"• Each Deco Box contains either a new random decoration, or a random epic item."

 

First I also got a epic item but sold it instant so dunno if it would have got lost else. Maybe just make sure that your three inventory slots are full when open a box and sell the items right away until that is fixed.

 

The Second box however indeed gave me decoration.

I guess it's a 50-50 chance to get item or decoration, else most players would get it all completed in just a few weeks.

Oh, thx, was early morning here

The problem is still the epic item disappear despite of available free space, cant find it anywhere.

Update: maybe its fixed, its works now!

Thank you for that tip Andrea. I've forwarded the temporary workaround also on the US forum, as they are experiencing the same issue.

I'm hearing on the INT server that the issue is solved, and the items are now stored.

The items bug is currently being worked on.

 

Please refrain from buying boxes until the bug is fixed.

As far as I can tell, it is no longer a problem. 

 

I have checked out Nutaku and Int1 and UK1, and got all my items.

I'm now officially hysterical with delight! I suggested this ages ago on the Forum - with probably hundreds of others, no doubt -  and here it is.

We are noticing a problem, where if you look at a player's profile, sometimes you see their decorations, and sometimes you don't. Does anyone else notice that problem, and have they figured out why some people don't have visible decorations?

Yes I noticed that when I dueled you. You have more decorations when I duel you than when I look at your profile. I opened a support ticket and sent them a screenshot of the dueling background (it would only allow me to send one screenshot).

 

I also noticed that when I replayed an attack (by the lovely PinkySlapAlot), I was not my usual good looking self but rather some dork. My face and hairstyle had changed. Opened a ticket for that too.

 

Overall, I'm pleased with this update. I'm sure the devs will iron out the kinks soon enough. Thumbs up.
