If something is broken, everyone has both a right to complain, and a responsibility to keep some perspective. Playata WANTS to hear when things are broken, but they simply don't track the forums in real time. For fast response, tickets are the way to go.
I need to add that several users in the German forum reported that the login to the support was also down at that time so there was actually no other way to report but the forum.
