P versus NP

Or better described as Polynomial time versus Non-Deterministic polynomial time, so what is this?

It is a famous mathematical problem that if we can solve a problem without actually having to try each option,  a classic example of this online was about a salesman needing to visit 5 different cities, using the shortest route possible, so this does not take a lot to work out as there are only a certain number of calculations needed to discover this, so verified in polynomial time but also solved in polynomial time.

But what if you had to visit a thousand cities this way, take far longer to calculate, then when we reach millions or billions of combinations it become time prohibitive and difficult.

But if anyone solves this problem which the answer is known without having to check each individual possibility, then the Clay mathematical institute will pay someone 1 million dollars for soving this.

It could change the world and computing as we know it.

But more importantly, we would know which fight to pick, or party to do, or what refinements to take in the game, and be a million dollars richer, so think of all the diamonds we could buy.
