Can anyone shed any info on what the link is for in studio description 

As i do not know what the button is for hehe i would upload the image of it but the image was not supported god knows why hehe but ok lets see if anyone can understand what i mean by description and the link cause i got no clues for it

That little couch image sends you straight "to the studio page in the studio listing".

That text is viewable when you hover over it.

 

So if you go to the studio page in-game and u click on that couch,

you are redirected to the forum recruitment thread here.

 

 

PS (edit): at least it was intended that way...

You can just as easily put a YouTube link in there.

But that's kind of confusing for the ppl who want to know your studio.
