Now during these special events, in the sex shop these boxes pop up for 99 diamonds that give random pieces of clothing mostly from the event outfit set. Is this a thing now? I know the big diamond spenders don't have a problem, but I'm not interested in spending actual money to keep buying diamonds just to have the nice stuff in the game. I liked the way it was before. I'm barely getting enough diamonds through gameplay just to keep missiles on. Is there a way we can up the amount of diamonds earned on the game or at least lower some of these prices?

One of the best gameplay ways to gain diamonds is by dueling. Burn your courage first thing when you log in. Then monitor the courage during your play session, and when you have enough to duel, do it right away. You gain one point of courage every 30 seconds until there is enough to launch a duel. If you already have enough to fight a duel, courage only increases by one point every 3 minutes. So by keeping your courage bar empty, you get a LOT more duels.

If your studio can afford the duel booster, you get even more rewards (in particular, a higher number of diamonds.)

Take duels where you are certain to win, but try not to be a dick about it.  To avoid losing diamonds buying missiles, go far enough down the list to find players you can beat without using missiles. You will also find that the upgraded parties generate a lot more missiles than before.

Lastly, if diamonds are scarce, don't buy those mystery packages. The items are no better than what you find normally. You can potentially get new patterns that aren't available any other way, but they are not diamond efficient.

If you contribute financially to support the game, you are rewarded for this in game.
If you don't, you can still play the game, in fact you can stay competitive in it
in this one - how many free to play games can claim to have that balance right?
I quit so many free to play games because the balance wasn't even considered.
But, Don't expect to have access to every game perk and feature in game if you don't contribute.
Makes sense to me.

I stopped buying beer every week and play a game instead now,
i'm healthier for it and no worse off financially. If I want beer, I get less diamonds for a week :)
Take a look at your budget, then how long you spend playing this, and ponder if it might be worth it
to throw a few dollars at it to increase your enjoyment in game.
