The following changes were deployed today (2017-12-12):

New Features
General
• New Successes for the area "Colorful Diversity" have been added.
• The new item pattern collection "Movie Star, Movie Star!" has been added, including a new title as a reward.
• The new film set "Hunting Lodge" had been added, including a fitting item set.
• A new item set, fitting to the "Whiplash" party has been added!
• The Hunting Instinct sometimes did not display the best mission. This has been fixed.
• Party tickets are now valid for 24 hours and don't disappear at midnight.

The last two items, the bug fix to the Hunting Instinct and the extension of the Party Ticket seem to be direct responses to community requests.

There's also been an addition of several more Shagri-La related items, which for some reason weren't mentioned in these patch notes, unless I missed them in another one  

 

I assume, or rather hope, this hunting lodge film set isn't a holiday specific thing, but rather a permanent addition to the game, because we know how had it can be to get holiday specific films.

Also, nice to see some successes in Colourful Diversity. I've always found that area to be just a random add-on with no love or care for it, so nice to see something that makes the area worth a visit. Would be nice though if they moved the icon on the map for Colourful Diversity just a bit, to make it easier to click on. At the moment, Tellville covers half of the icon already  

 

As for the other things, nice additions, but none that bother me too much.

If an item set is part of a special, it's always mentioned in the "?" part of the set.

Check: Sex Shop -> Sewing Machine/Collections icon -> Set -> ?

and you'll need to see a literal mention there of "during the xxx Special".

 

PS: just a quick summary of that film thing as the update's phrasing has seemed to confuse people:

- Hunting Lodge is just another type of filmset - like Space etc.
- There are no new things there, no new backgrounds or cover effects.
- The 3rd item you can win there (where the epics and 4SPs always are), is a "Movie Star! Movie Star!" set item.

- When you collect all 5 of those set items, you get 50 energy and the Camera Lover title.

Ignore it if it's redundant info.

Can't wait to get my hands on the latter to see for myself if it works like it should.

Thanks for clarification on Hunting Lodge, noticed you were one of the first running around in the outfit too!

 

Hunting Instinct works great now, and effectively finds party tickets the way its stated.

 

I'd still like to be able to tweak the hunting instinct - at the moment we choose between max xp or max notes

i'd really like a slider where you can set the ratio of notes : xp  that it searches for so you could for example find the missions closest to a 60%note, 40% xp if you so desired.... but I digress.... thanks devs for listening to the community on this one!

It actually doesn't.

The ratios are correct now, but party tickets aren't counted in.

It didn't find a ticket ever before, I think, unless it also happened to be the highest exp/notes mission.

During the advent I won a few Instincts to check it out with:

So you just need to keep your eyes open and never fully go automatic-pilot.
