Once you've purchased diamonds, can you spend some or most of them, but still donate to a studio earned diamonds from achievements or missions up to the amount purchased?

Just to add to Sindy's awesome answer.....You can donate diamonds to your studio up to the total amount you have ever purchased. So for example you buy 1500 and only donate 500....you still have up to 1000 you can donate, That total goes up with every diamond purchase like a running account.
