What happens really if you vote to get the boss out of her/his position?
Does she/he gets out of the studio or just loses her boss position and goes to member?

Hey Jason,
I think after 105 days of inactivity, the game will auto-kick the player, regardless of level within the studio. And if that player kicked was a boss, I think the highest level producer will become the new boss.
But you don't have to wait for that to happen, if your team manages to vote in a new boss, (and I forgot how many votes it takes), the old boss stays in the studio as a member. The new boss can elect to move the old boss up to a Producer, but you probably should wait for them to come back to play before doing that.
And if anything I said was wrong, please come back and let me know how it worked out...
Thanks,
-TB

I am boss of my Busty Spiderbabes studio after the boss went inactive.
After 21 days with no boss login, the producer(s) are given a choice to initiate a vote. I believe all studio members can be voted for. The person with the most votes becomes the new boss.
It was a while back, but I think I remember that the old boss is demoted to producer.

Are Lizzy and Stacy staging a coup, Jason?
If you need a hostile takeover, just let us know...
Now that my char has been deleted...
I finally am just as relevant to UK2 as Maalena always has been.

Lizzy and Stacy are in Japan last I heard, but the studio actually needs an active boss in the meantime.
I think it'll be better actually if the vote goes through. Wasn't sure what would happen after the voting if it would go through.
Thx everyone

I have read in a previous post that the period of inactivity to vote on a new boss is 30 days. Here I see 21 days. I also read that the vote automatically happens after that time period. Here I am reading that a producer must initiate it. I was just wondering if anyone could verify which are correct.
Additionally, I have a few questions about the voting process.
1.) Once the voting starts, how long is the voting period?
2.) If the old/current leader logs in after the voting started but before it's completed do they retain their position, or is it too late for them at that point unless they just so happen to win the vote?
3.) If someone joins the studio after the voting starts do they get to vote too?

I don't know the answers to all those questions, Uliana. Further, anything I can say from personal experience is almost two years old, and since software is mutable, there may be changes. Unfortunately, memory is also mutable, so I might not remember it correctly anyway.
1) Voting period was a couple of days or so. Not very long.
2) No idea.
3) I doubt it, but do not know.
I will ask to see if I can get better answers.

Got the following reply:
We aren't sure, but it may also be true that when a player votes, the fact that they voted is reported in chat. It may potentially also record who the player voted for. If this process kicks off somewhere, I would enjoy knowing for sure.

thank you very much! :-)

This is incorrect. An icon appears to the right of the bosses name (right where the condom or star shows who is registered for a studio fight) after 21 days of inactivity and no voting gets initiated until someone clicks on it (doesn´t have to be a Prod to set it off)

Interesting. I had thought I remembered have to start the vote, but when I was told it kicked off automatically, I assumed it had changed. Thanks for the update.

Hmm .. my previous post on this subject has been deleted? was that because of mild language, including a player's username? if you allow vulgar language in usernames, surely it shouldn't be censored when you mention that username!
My question is still valid: should the vote boss out be an option for producers only. therefore randomer's cannot join, initiate a vote, and then leave again.
if anyone wants further details, PM me, I don't want this censored again! Or get another ban!

Your original note got into the details of a dispute between you and another player, and is thus inappropriate. Check your personal messages (the little message symbol at the top of the page.)
If I hide a note because part of the content is not appropriate, the poster will always get a note from me explaining why, and suggesting alterations to let you get the rest of your information heard.

didn't spot that, thought it got deleted/censored for the mildly vulgar language that got me the ban
now, should this feature be for producers only so they can take control?

I frankly don't understand why an inactive boss is a good thing. While I understand the memorial aspects of it... no one sees applicants to the studio, and no new producers can be made.
I suppose if members object to a figurehead boss, they can always vote with their feet. I note that if there are diamonds invested in a studio, and no active producers (some bosses don't make any), then the members are SOL. (I don't think this is very common, may not be worth worrying about.)
I will pass along the suggestion that only producers are able to initiate a vote to remove a boss.

Perhaps a cooldown feature? Allow all players to initiate the vote, but new players need to be in-studio for a few days before they can do so.

A probation period would probably be good. Let the people who have been there truly decide over someone who may have just been brought in after the boss went missing. I believe having most having the right to vote for their boss than a few. Members should also have a say in it. It's their studio, too.

Every member of the studio gets to vote on whuch player gets to be boss next. Like in my situation, everyone first decided to keep the inactive boss as boss or didn't vote at all. Then when I said that it would be better to have an active boss, I had said to everyone that they can kick the boss from his/her boss spot and put me as boss.
I am not sure of it if people who just join get to vote too, but I think they can.
