I'm raising a concern here on how some game aspects are turning way too much into a pay to win. The temple competition is sometimes alright helping the studios with active members, but sometimes like this week, its out of control. I'm referring to the competition about conventions as a perfect example.

 

I'm starting to lose interest in playing because of that major issue. The temple competition makes it way too uneven for small studios and their players to rise, and for players who spend not much diamonds to be a little more than mediocre.

 

There are games with much more content in this world that do not require so much money to be spent on them.

 

Also the issue of multiple accounts by individuals has to be addressed but that's a different battle

Convention as a temple objective is brutal; especially the 2 hour or hour and a half ones. I also have it as a dick starter task this week with some minor reward.  The conventions not only suck up diamonds, batteries and TV time, they stop the player from doing anything else except their films. Even with the times posted (the one good aspect of it), most people in my studio find the scheduled times to be not doable for them. I hope we don't see this as temple again for a while.

By far the worst one. But I suspect a quite profitable one. So we will see it again.

Convention Temple is clearly the least favorite of most players.  It is likely a profit center due to those that spend their diamonds like crazy on it, but I came to the realization several iterations ago, it is better to directly donate the diamonds I would have spent (on Temple Conventions) to my studio directly, rather than go through all the actual game play of doing so.

 

Don't get me wrong, diamonds are still a girl's best friend in this game, but maybe not for Temple play...
