Welcome to the Garage Interview where we meet some of the most unexpected pornstars in our virtual world. This month, we interview Yibbies.
1. Hi Yibbies! How are you? Please tell us your username(s), and the servers you play on. Tell us - what motivated you to choose the name and server(s) for your star?
My username is Yibbies, and I play on UK2 server. My real-life nickname is Yibbies, given to me from my two-year-old niece who had a hard time saying "Uncle Jimmy", and it came out "Unca Yibbies". The name stuck ever since.
2. Tell us about yourself. How was your life before becoming a pornstar?
I'm an old-school gamer, and have played quite a few different video and board games, some of which include MarioKart, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, Halo, Neverwinter Nights, Naval War, Car Wars, Munchkin (love Steve Jackson games).
3. Any hobby outside of the film-industry you would want to tell us about?
I'm a graphic artist previously, and used to draw/design and ink tattoos.
4. Who's your favourite pornstar? (i.e. Clara Morgane, Katsuni, Evan Stone)
Used to own a huge pornstar collection of trading cards, autographed lithograms, memorabilia, etc... Valued over $2500 USD. Favorites would include Christy Canyon, Nina Hartley, Asia Carrerra, Peter North, Ron Jeremy (Hedgehog).
5. How did you start playing Big Bang Empire? Did you hear about the game from your friends, or maybe an advertisement?
Oddly enough, I found an advertisement for it online, while I was searching for videos for "Big Bang Theory" show, which I watch religiously.
6. When did you start to play Big Bang Empire?
My career in the game started on March 18th, 2016.
7. Do you remember the day you started playing Big Bang Empire?
Yes, I had a lot of questions about everything, and wandered around aimlessly solo until finding out that joining a studio is really where the fun is. Your character can be much more powerful with the right studio.
8. Do you remember your first days as a "noob" in Big Bang Empire? Tell us something!
I used to get "tagged" a lot by older and more experienced players, and was always looking for better gear and refinements, learning that's one way to dissuade someone to poke you.
9. What do you like the most in the game?
My favorite game features include dueling, creating films and participating with my studio in the Temple events.
10. When you log in the game, what do you do first?
When I log in, I collect the notes from working, get busy with any films I need to shoot, and check the courage fist to see who poked me while I was away.
11. What are your favourite items?
Hands down, my favorite items are the 100% smelling salts refinement for shoes, the 30% trophy sticker for rings and the 30% spurring knobs refinement for head gear.
12. What is it like being a leader/producer of one of the best studios in the entire server? Is it an easy task?
I started off in Gloryhole (run by yoyo3), then Yesterdays (run by Loanna), then Champagne Room (run by Becky Lynch, who gave me command later on) and now Bros & Hoes. It is a difficult task as a Leader of a studio, there are so many things to consider which way you'd like your studio to progress. In the Champagne Room, it was always earning glory in studio duels, trying to have the best possible refinements for success. With the addition and development of the Temple, I've noticed quite a shift in studio goals and productivity now.
13. Do you have an anecdote you'd like to share with us? A fun quote from a co-player perhaps?
Every time I log out from the game, I've always told my studio "Stay Sharp (Energy symbol)"
14. Is there any special moment in your career as a pornstar you would like to share with us?
One achievement I've recently claimed, playing 365 days straight and earning the "MILF" title was one of those special moments, for me. Another was a successful duel against Emara (no longer active).
15. Is there something you'd specifically like to achieve in the game?
One day... lol. I'm going to beat Zed12, Jenna21, darcy88 in a duel. On a more serious note, I'm working on achieving stats that are over 10k. I realize this is a long way off, but I can see myself to be a top player like Analis in the not-too-distant future.
16. In your opinion, what is your greatest achievement so far in Big Bang Empire?
I would like to say I am proud to be a member of the Bros & Hoes studio, which has won 1st place in the Temple events 12 weeks in a row! My hat is off to D2016, Gigi71, Donatela & Analis for this accomplishment - since I'm more of a team player than a selfish one, this was one of my proudest moments.
17. Have you set any particular goals to achieve?
Yes, I have a few goals yet to accomplish. Hoping soon to unlock the new Shangri-La city (level 250), earning a BBE film award (1st place film) and a top ten spot in the hunt for glory. Also trying to collect everything else I don't have in the game, I'm a collector and enjoy the new styles and outfits available.
18. Have you taken part in a convention? What's your best position in which to qualify?
I've participated in as many conventions possible, seeing how they do not consume energy and a great way to earn experience and maybe earn a nice trinket or two. I've won a few of them, and I'm still hunting for the Sergeant Helm to complete the set.
19. You are a top player in Big Bang Empire. What is the secret of your success?
MY secret isn't so much a secret, I just try to stay active every day, listen and take the advice from some of the more experienced players, build up my skill points as quickly as possible and stay competitive within the Temple. A lot of good advice can be found here in the forum, with these garage interviews from previous players.
Stay active, ask questions, build skill points. Also helps to participate in an active studio. Everyone has a different style and build for their character, and there's no "wrong" way to do it, although I would suggest having a decent amount of stamina to stay alive. Some players focus on Charisma and Finesse which are also helpful.
21. Big Bang Empire creates friendships. Have you created any kind of bond with another player? Tell us who, and how.
Suppose I could say Donatela for this question. We've both been in and out of some of the same studios, shared a lot of laughs and jokes along the way.
22. Is there any player you look up to - that you admire? - If so, who and why?
Quite a few on this list... D2016, BeckyLynch, Emara, Analis, Zed12, Donatela, Gigi71, Jenna21, Cimorene, KimberlyB, p1eas3... All good players with a competitive nature and strong leadership skills to unify their teams.

24. Is there any message you'd like to send the Big Bang Empire community?
Just have fun in the game, use as much energy as you can, and be patient... you'll get there eventually.
25. Describe Big Bang Empire in three words.
Sexy, Silly, Fun
26. Which boosters do you usually buy? Which do you deem the most important?
I buy them all religiously, and I'd put the Skills booster up at the top of the list.
27. How many diamonds do you buy each month?
At least $100 USD per month. I work hard, I'm gonna play hard, too.
28. Your star is one ranked with top glory. Can you advise us in how you choose your duels?
Most times I check for the green/red stat ratio. Sometimes I check on the refinements worn by the opponent. Many times, I just forget that I'm wearing all my Strength gear for a particular mission, and usually lose a good chunk of glory when I attack someone. It's happened to all of us, and I can still laugh about it now.
