Has there been a time change for energy refresh and studio fights?

 

I used to have energy refreshed at 10 a.m. (daylight saving time)

 

And 9 a.m. (eastern standard time.)

 

Now it seems as though the time has gone forward for refreshing energy by one hour.

 

And the same for studio fights.

 

What's going on?

 

Waiting for a refresh even later makes it harder to play as I have more time in the morning.

No change of reset time that I am aware of unless it happened this weekend....I have been a little distracted and have not done my energy on BBE.......shame on me.

Well, my refresh was an hour late this morning, the same time as the BBE Awards.

The time is still an hour ahead for refreshing, anyone know why?

There was a time change in Europe on October 25.  North America time does not change until November 1.  Another of my games is now 1 hour behind.  I would bet that come next Sunday we will be back on track.

I noticed today that it was an hour later but as of next weekend it should be back to normal for me since I am in the US.

This server may serve UK, but since Playata is a german-based company, I'd be willing to bet that the actual servers are in Germany, and therefore were affected by the European time change that IA mentioned...

 

the game clock is adjusted by a program for each players local time, but game mechanics such as reset would be governed by the actual time at the servers location...

No, I just looked and since Australia moved clocks forward an hour on October 4, 2015 the new later reset time will remain for you. 

 

Reset time is set by the server time zone like Angelica explained.

Yes it changed from 9 a.m. my time to 10 a.m. my time and now for some reason it's an hour later again.

That is because the European time changed to an hour forward.

When Australia goes to DST next spring, and then when Europe does the same, it will adjust again, you will need to pay attention so that you can follow the changes...

 

your case, being in Australia, is somewhat unique... You are both over the IDL and in the Southern Hemisphere, so time changes are at unusual times for you and other players from your area of the world...

It does make it hard to refresh energy the whole four times so I don't bother usually, I'm on both servers now and I don't have all day.

And we are in Spring.

The downside is, now that my refresh starts at 11 a.m. instead of 10 a.m. (Daylight Saving Time)

 

And with two servers and two characters, it is getting harder to keep up.

 

And while I can have both characters logged on at the same time (in separate windows) the refresh time sets me back a hell of a lot.

 

I can't always refresh energy four times, like I used to before.

 

And it has nothing to do with the second server, it's the time frame that's killing me.
