I know I have asked this question before but I need a breakdown of it.

 

It was mentioned that I have to use a program called Imgur to upload pics in the forum.

 

I'm on an iMac desktop mostly and I looked up Imgur and I couldn't find any downloads.

 

And I certainly couldn't find any for iMac.

 

Help.

Imgur is a hosting service... it allows you to set up an account and download your own captured or self-made images (usually in .png or .jpg form) and provides an embedable url to allow posting here in the forum... if you need to get more help in using images here, please feel free to PM me, or if you feel more comfortable dealing with someone 'official', any mod can assist you...

Okay so I downloaded/uploaded/whatever ..... imgur.

 

Now I'm stuck on how to use it to be able to post pics in the forum.

Okay so are there any experts out there who know how to use the program?

Once you have uploaded an image you want to use in the forums to imgur, pull that image up in your imgur images... to the right of that image will be a list of urls... right click on the url (I prefer the direct one) and chose 'copy'... come to the forum, put your cursor on the page where you want the image to appear, click on the icon that looks like a small framed picture, 'paste' the url in the pop-up box that appears, and confirm... adjust the position if needed, then post your comment...

Yeah, I keep getting an imgur error message, I'm good at most things but not this.

at what point in the process does the error message appear? if it always occurs at the same point in the process, then one might determine why you're getting the error...

Yep and Thanks.  And seriously ..... Thanks Synn for putting me onto this program. I do GIMP and I'll have a ton of fun on it. If I can pry myself away from BBE long enough.

I have made two photo albums in Imgur but I don't know how to add photos to them ...... ideas?

in imgur, hover over your screen name to open the menu, then choose albums... pick one of the albums to open it then choose the add option and pick the pics that you want in that album...

I think that I deleted that image from Imgur, I'll have to make a new one.

I must have deleted some imgur images and when I delete from the album then they delete from here.
