Hello,

 

I have a problem with Mission 403.Peeping forbidden. 

 

I successfully complete this mission several times but every time i get it this mission again it keeps saying 0/5 completed. If have checked my findings several time with same results ... 

 

FYI : The actual mission name is "peeping Toms chased away" (fighting mission BEACH area)

Write a support ticket and they can check for a problem.  If possible show a screenshot.

I just had a look at the mission list here in the FAQ part of the forum, it actually says that "Peeping Forbidden" refers to a mission about planning an erotic calendar, and the woman you make an offer to thinks you're a perv so you have to explain it before she gets mad.  That does sound really weird (I'd think the peeping tom was the obvious one too) but I guess the woman thinks you're "peeping"... I do think I remember one time when that happened, I was doing a mission and it not registering, and it was just that the mission sounded like the success I was chasing, but actually wasn't the right one (not this one, I think it was back in the second area not the beach).  So maybe that's it?

 

(BTW for exactly this reason it was so good when the map started showing mission icons to make it all quick and easy.)

Yeah, Kaitee's point is invaluable: I remember back before they added the missions to the map how some descriptions will make you mistake a certain mission for being tied to another success based on the description. In Santo Roco you have the success for getting the cards of producers or something like that, and the actual description of the mission is that you are going to be a hotel receptionist. The same with meeting the mayor in Tellville. Before the missions on the map, there was that great thread on the forum that served as a guide to mission successes, but now that's all in the past thanks to the neat map feature.

 

I suppose originally the developers wanted people to figure out the connections by finishing missions and actually reading the text at the finish of a mission (this is the 21st century, Playata! We don't read no more.)  but it was still not always obvious without checking the success after finishing a mission (or putting it as the active mission to see if it was advanced at the end of a mission).

 

The tourist fighting mission in Los Vengeles is another suspicious mission to figure out that springs to mind.

 

All in the past now though! Yay!

The fact still remains....  Success 404 is  "Peeping Forbidden"   X/5 Peeping Toms chased away.

 However, I could not find mission 403, nor could I find a success 403.
 
 
I have completed  Success 404   5/5 Peeping Toms chased away.  The  YOUR SUCCESSES states:
 
Again and again a peeping Tom lodges himself in the vicinity of the beach house, Protect your privacy and scare away at least 5 of these pushy guys.

I believe Grandad's missing a flag or trigger and the problem is behind the scene. I do appreciate the conversation as many aspects of the game have yet to be revealed and bugs do exist.  Great Information, thanks for the insight.

I just checked and found this kind of bug in mission.508 peeping forbidden! too.
Last time I found completed 63/140.
So I wait to complete this mission again.
Then I check mission.508 in success menu and just know that still complete at 63/140.(sorry for my forget to capture this problem)
