Very simple question. How do you get trophies for your studio?

 

You won't know if you don't ask.

You fight a studio that has a trophy currently... if you win, you get their trophy...

resurrecting an old thread with an addition to the trophy question

 

HOW do you get a trophy when the top 4 studios on your server are too strong for anyone else to attack and another studio has 5 trophies and has somehow managed to lose so much rep, that studios that CAN attack them, cant because the rep difference is too high? and those in the same rep bracket are 10-15k lower in stats.

There are only 5 "loose" trophies on UK 1 and 4 of them are film trophies.

Can the devs possibly look at adding more trophies to the servers so other studios have a chance at that 5 trophy achievement, OR introduce a time limit on trophy ownership, such as 10-12 months, when the trophies then go back into general circulation to be refound and then fought over again?

Adding extra trophies is a meticulous thing to do. It takes quite some balancing. Becoming a part of a trophy-studio is a gain, also remember there always is a lot of development in top studios. Players quit, etc. That gives chance for new studios that in the meantime have worked hard as a team to get as much skillpoints as they can.

 

Please know, I used to be a big fan of film trophies, because of the skillpoints. That's what the game was all about for me.

LOL the ONLY reason players have left the top 4 teams on UK1 is because they were on via facebook and have been timed out by the server.

I get that it takes careful balancing to add more trophies but a few more couldn't hurt.
yes film trophies can give you the potential for extra skill points and help as and when film temples come up but the only "loose" trophies are all 20% penalty for that 1 extra film. we have 2 of them in my studio and are hammered for a 40% penalty for a minor benefit. There are ways to mitigate the penalty IF you get lucky at misty but otherwise the penalty is too steep for the non garaunteed potential slight benefit.

As the leader of my studio, im happy to hit studios we CAN beat without both trophies and lose to WITH both trophies, so other studios do atleast get some benefit but the rest of the trophies on the server are innaccesable to all the rest of the studios.
