I know that a lot of people probably have some kind of mixture between the different factors, but I was just hoping to know how others view the Awards voting, so if you would just pick your standard variable (I assume that nobody is in a situation where they can vote for a studio mate most of the time, for instance).
I hope that the alternatives I thought of are self-explanatory.
By fun titles, I mean those that are funny or weird. I for one love the titles that end up sounding bizarre, like things about "Monster Gherkins" or "Grandmas" (yeah, I snicker when I picture that old granny with dentures and all...).
By "good" title I mean a decent porn title (i.e., a title that is good or interesting other than just funny).
I know that custom titles can fall into either of the other title categories (they can often be either funny or good) but this alternative is if you give special weight to the fact that it is a custom title or just focus on the actual title itself (whether it is funny or good).
By the covers, I mean by "hot" one that you find appealing as a pornographic cover (sexy, I guess) and funny, well some characters can look pretty outlandish.
I guess there could be other factors, but those are the once I figured most likely. I'd love to know how other people treat their voting for the Awards. I love picking movies, and I try to make my own seem interesting to other people (partly because it's fun and rewarding to get votes).
On the whole, I usually go for the good title. I don't pay much attention to the cover itself other than if it somehow feels like it is a real mismatch to the title (like a title about girls with two men on the cover...)
