A few people in the studio I belong to were talking about people taking members from the studio they belong to and getting them to leave and join the other person's studio. So my suggestion is making the members list of all studio's not visible to anyone not in that studio.

I'm not sure people (the players) 'belong to' studios or... to anyone. They're like... ya know... humans, not objects... >_> And it's the players choice whether or not they wanna leave or stay in a studio... <_<

There's leaving a studio and there's studio hopping, where players just move around all over the place, yeah I get that it's their choice but I wouldn't want studio hoppers in my studio.

While I am sure that this method is used for recruiting, it won't stop people from getting your players if they want to leave.
Honestly when looking for players to fill my studio I pay attention to my fight list to see who's beating me or gets close. I also watch the glory rankings and their levels to gauge activity.
Just looking through studio's to recruit isn't exactly an efficient way to recruit players.
As Kate so eloquently said, players do have free will and can leave as they please. It IS a game and we all play for different reasons. Some play to meet new people while others play to be competitive.
If you're not having fun or enjoying the game, perhaps you should find yourself some new digs with like-minded players.

As for recruiting, I also use glory rankings to find active players. Even if the game was to "hide" your players, recruiters can still see your players. So as I go down the rankings and I find a level 150+ player in a studio that is half way expanded, well of course, I'm going to offer a better studio. Why not? Build your studio and your players will not leave. It really is that simple.

I never said I didn't enjoy the game, it was just a suggestion that's all.
