I have to say that after a few minutes playing the game that I absolutely HATE the mandatory voting after each and every ballot I get.  

 

It really does nothing more than slow the gameplay and create conflicts when a mission finishes while I'm doing something else.

 

I had a mission finish while I was doing a film mission and the popup for voting caused the game to become unresponsive and I had to reboot the entire site.

 

At least before, I could start another mission and then use my ballots but now it really is nothing more than a hindrance.

 

While I'm at it, why is it now impossible to find my film that's being voted on?  I try to search for 0 which should show me mine and it gets me nothing.  Not sure if that's a bug or a planned change but it SUCKS.

I haven't had any full-on problems like the one you describe, but I agree so far as I don't really see what the benefit is in forcing the vote to happen right that moment. I'm not sure if the devs foresaw some issue that could arise from people stockpiling ballots to use all at once later on - I can't really think what it would affect, ultimately, either technical or gameplay. I like the new system in other respects, but I'd be happy to be able to vote when I chose again.

I just get used the film voting and they change it again.   they are not showing the number of votes a film is getting  , only the rank of the film .   I want to know how many votes my films get .  and I want to know how many votes other films get .

I'm in full agreement with you Evolution. I hate the new system too. It slows the game play down. And it's very annoying having to vote every time I switch areas looking for the best mission to do. I enjoyed saving up my ballots and doing them all at once. Added a nice little bonus to my exp and notes that way. Not to mention the items and sp I got from it

Only one film in the voting.  This has taken away all my desire to make films.  It was exciting when there was a chance for more than one to make it in the top 500.  Am I correct ? does everyone else see only one of their films on the voting list ?

I'm just now only halfway through my energy.  I would normally be done with my energy for the day within the next hour.  This is unacceptable.  Time is why I walked away from Hero Zero. Part of what made this game manageable and fun was that it didn't take all day long to complete your energy for the day.  This change to voting after each and every mission has undone that.

i hope everyone will tell their teams to not do voting ballot missions any more to give  the developers the message we do not like it having to vote after every ballot mission.   I also am not spending any notes or diamonds on my films now .   Only the one i want to check for voting am i changing how I want .   If only one is seen , what is the use ?    they will loose a lot of diamond spending by having only one film in the voting

Strangely, I find that I don't mind it

The developers obviously want this voting thing and the films to be a critical part of the game.

It is natural to observe them forcing the votes after numerous comments in forums of "I don't even bother to vote"

 

The timing is an inconvenience, but only because you were used to how it used to be.

There has been a notable improvement in Skill Point and Epic Item Drops as a result of voting - this compensates for the time lost i find.

If you really hate voting so much pick missions that do not give you a vote

 

What I think would be a possible solution to those who dislike the vote process, would be to allow the votes to accumulate as usual, but run a force vote on next log in option, perhaps have it as a setting you can select vote on the run or vote on login as options

It's just a click after the mission. I would still prefer to have the choice to pile the ballots...

Something feels broken about the new system though.. I've spent over 300 diamonds trying to find myself, (with 17!! movies made last week) I keep seeing the same faces, but not once my own movie O.o

 

So the 160% chance seems to be significantly worse than 2 movies a day, 14 movies and 130% chance.

One thing that "seems broken" is the lack of movement on the Big Bang Awards (BBA) Leaderboard on the last day of competition - it appears to me that no ballots are actually being collected in the final 8 to 15 hours.  This appeared to be the case for two weeks in a row.  There's definite lack of transparency in the new and improved BBA process... lack of visible votes for one, and lack of timely updates on the last day of the contest have me not trusting the new system.
