The Studio Appearance can be changed. We know this.
What Many Players do not know is that those changes cost
massive amounts of in game resources.

 

I recently watched one of our officers contribute

thousands in diamonds, and millions in Notes

He changed the studio appearance for each of the display items available.

 

He thought he was unlocking the display items for the studio.

 

After he had paid for each and every Display,

He realised it did not in fact unlock any of them,

and that if the displays he had already paid for wanted to be seen

He would have to pay for them again.

 

Nowhere does it say this in the game.

I also had no idea that this was the case.

 

This simply is wrong.

It exploits new players to the game who are willing to make contributions.

One of the items was 5 million in notes alone.

Many of the Diamond Items are hundreds upon hundreds to display.

We saw these purchases in studio for all of 1 minute while he cycled through them all.

 

It leaves me feeling nothing more than that I just witnessed a player get ripped off.

 

I am very concerned that Playata will risk losing their

pay to play members over this if this is not addressed.

I would recommend passing along your concerns through a ticket. When changing studio appearance it never states you are unlocking any of the features. Each change is a one time change. If you change that item again you can't revert back to a previous item you changed. When opening a ticket it does provide an option to select you would like to criticize something. That would be the best way to voice your concern on this issue. I will pass along the suggestion that you would like to see the purchased changes remain free after purchase.

No when I donate money for something there should be a warning beforehand that you cannot get what you paid for again when players spend large amounts of actual money from their pocket you should take care of those people or they should take care of those people and not criticize them about getting upset about something that is not clear and I'm certain would not be clear to many people

It's a money trap you'll find that more people will spend the money if they get to keep something but to spend that much and not get to keep it its a joke

 

In this is being posted on here so other people can see it and not make the same mistake

I passed along the request. I understand your frustration over the issue. I sent along the suggestion that when purchasing changes to studio appearance that those changes remain available free after that to be used again in the future. At this time though please just be aware that is not how studio appearance changes are. You pay to make the change and it is a one time thing. If you change it then you can not revert back without paying for the change again.

 

 

I caution to keep this topic as constructive feedback. You were not criticized for anything. I simply explained how it currently works. 

 

 

The player was not advised to submit a ticket for a refund. The player was advised to submit a ticket to share their feelings on how the system works.

Well I apologize I may have taken your response as an attack at first I just hate to see other people make the same mistake and get angry like I did and and hopefully see this and do not make the same mistake

Sorry for the confusion - I, The Barito, advised the player - in game - to ask for a refund.
Your suggestion to submit a ticket regarding opinion on the actual process should be followed as good advice!

Hover over the wrench and select support or if on mobile device tap on the wrench and select support.

Look for the wrenches at the bottom of the app or screen, click on them.  There will be the word Support, click on it and the rest is self explanatory.

P.S.  There will most likely NOT be a refund of any type.  The best you can probably hope for is that the devs MIGHT change it to an unlocking type feature but I wouldn't expect ANY diamonds or notes back at all.  Not criticizing, just being real.

I'm not criticizing either because I haven't even asked yet and gotten a response but in a customer based environment it is always good to take care of your customer especially when customers like me have other friends like the one I brought to the server and other friends I may bring don't have a problem spending money on games like this I know I have spent a fairly large sum of money so far just because I am enjoying the game

Your definition of a fairly large sum is more like a horrendous fortune to most players pipp ;)
