Costumes not available in the Store...

I am something of an amateur artist, so if the costume I want for my character isn't available in my store, either due to level being too low, or the non-existence of that particular costume... I make one of my own...

How do you make them and can you use them?

I use Lightshot for the screenshots, and GIMP to alter the pictures... both are free or open-source programs...

I can use them in the forum, but not in the game...

I can get screenshots on my iMac and I use GIMP but I don't think that my manipulation skills are as good as yours yet. 

practise, and a steady mouse hand, are all it takes... it helps if you have artistic ability, of couse...

Do you draw the costumes?

the Thanksgiving one, I drew...

the Christmas one, I re-colorized the Halloween witch dress, smoothed out the web pattern, and inverted the color of the fur trim and added some to the top edge, and added fur trim to the witches boots (I did draw the green part of the hat) {pretty darned impressive, I think, considering AS doesn't have the dress or the boots}...
