If the point of these is to reward effort and they are all supposed to be possible for every player to complete within the set time span, then the inclusion of the task that requires you to make 15 Christmas-themed films is a big mistake. I'm at 8/15 and done with shooting for today, which probably means that it's already impossible for me to finish this task within the 2 (?) remaining days of the special... And I took every opportunity to shoot a film at the North Pole set whenever it was available for free. Investing diamonds for the refresh of film offers kinda goes against the "effort rewarding and completable for all" angle that the Advent tasks should be pursuing.

And not only that, if you indeed have to spend diamonds to complete it all, then the rewards are simply ridiculous. You collect 75 decorations for days to get mere 10 diamonds which cover the cost of one refresh of film offers? You invest diamonds for multiple refreshes to complete the needed amount of Christmas-themed films and get lousy 39k notes as a reward + the opportunity to finish all the Advent tasks that will earn you some item that might as well be found in the shop or through filmmaking? Like I said, ridiculous...

Now, I’m aware it makes sense to refresh the offers in search of the North Pole set if you're specifically hunting for skill points, but even then you might actually find a regular offer with more skill points as a reward than the standard 5 that can be frequently gained by shooting a film at the the North Pole set...

I was thinking the same thing - we get 7 days to complete 15 of 21 possible Holiday-themed films.  That's doable, but will require some luck or some diamond refreshing to happen.

 

The reward on the farming of balls (75 of these) and holiday packages (50 of those) is a bit weak compared to the effort it will take, if you complete it.

 

All the other tasks seems fairly obtainable; 75 duels and 50 timed missions.

 

Thankfully we do get some 25 gifts under the Advent calendar tab to enjoy with some minimal effort.

I finished this easy on my Nu star that is in a studio with trophies. My other stars will be lucky to finish because of the film task. I'm prioritizing my few diamonds toward that while they last. Re-rolling seems like so far to always hit, but I will be sunk if I run into a stubborn shoot that doesn't because there is no room for error on 3 stars and not near enough diamonds on those stars to just keep rolling. One is actually dueling for diamonds without missiles loaded because she also has a weekly 200+ missile task for an item to complete another set.

My initial thought was that 15 would be too steep for most. It appears to be true. I actually wondered if it was a typo at 1st.

At the time of this reply, my UK stars have 3 days and 2 hours remaining. You have 9 more shoots. It's doable...maybe...barely...best of luck!

I just want to add real quick that the movie portion of this has a diminishing price amount to finish for diamonds. on this star, at 10/15 it is at 96 diamonds. It was close to 200 before. i noticed earlier on my star that completed. It was down to 21 when I had just one left to do. so, if you get it down to one or 2, it may not be an unreasonable amount of diamonds to scrape up.Worst case, any server but NU I believe has the cheap pack of 222 diamonds for 3 bucks USD. Sorry, I don't know what that is in pounds but it's the price of a bag of snack chips/crisps.

The reward of 10 diamonds is a pittance of what it should be to reflect the effort of 75 item collection. Ironically I received a random 10 diamond reward for 1 mission completion while collecting the 75 items for it's 10 diamond reward. Makes me ponder...

I think it actually ends tomorrow. And today I did my first refresh just to get a better offer with free skill points, because the 3 offers all had bad rewards, and what do you know? Still no North Pole option... So I just took a regular offer with 4 free skill points.

Screw this whole Advent thing. I appreciate all your advice how to finish it, but some shitty Christmas item is actually not worth any diamond investment...

I've found that almost any task that seems like a silly amount for a pitiful reward is that way; the real reward is what you gain along the way in notes, exp, random skill points and diamonds. They're everywhere. Other games I play are jealous of this, or they should be, lol

Forget this. I just checked it out on a PC where it shows you the exact amount of time remaining and you were right. There's still today and another two days. So theoretically it could still be done. Bud given that I haven't yet seen a movie offer set at the North Pole today, even though I already shot two films and spent the diamonds for one refresh, I wouldn't hold my breath for it...

Bummer Am. It actually looks now like all of mine could finish. Only one of the 3 is questionable. The losing duels for sp was the big gift in this one to me. You could take missiles right out for that.

So in the last two days I saw only one film offer located at the North Pole that didn’t even yield any skill points or diamonds as a reward... It seems that after I finished the other Advent tasks, the game started to act like the whole special was over and the Christmas-set offers all but disappeared.

3 of my 4 have finished. The US2 star has one film left and all of tomorrow to find it, but very few diamonds. We shall see. I still have to agree 15 is a bit many after the 5 for Halloween. At the rate they were e showing up, 10 would be reasonable for most IMO and 5 would have been better. I mean how many pornos does someone need to snuggle? You only watch 10 minutes of them at a time, right?

4/4 for my stars. Really had to prioritize this if you wanted it. IMO, it was worth it for the 10 skill points at the end along with the other 10 for easy dueling. Once it was done, I had holiday shoots all over the place, especially on the star that finished early.

Gotta ask though, How is that set the north pole? It's the space set, lol. Did Art dept take early holiday? The snow globe is cool. I wish the bubble bed in studios turned into one for the season since my little studio just installed one. But I would have used the house with a fireplace or even the half timber set. But maybe Santa is an alien?

Last year, there was an actual Santa set... I want to say it was the North Pole / Santa's Workshop sort of thing.

 

I am not sure why the devs didn't choose to use it again.
