It's not letting me switch to my original avatar, why? I didn't do anything wrong

When was the last time you played your avatar? If you don't log in within (we think) 105 days, avatars may be automatically deleted.
You can try dropping a ticket to support, using the crossed wrenches on the lower right. If the character is still around, it can sometimes be restored.
