Would it be a good idea, to Buy items to complete our Collections ? I have so many incomplete collections and some I would like just to Buy , example Success is Sexy . Is this possible  either with Notes or Diamonds?

I like where you are headed with this Mel... it should be a POLL QUESTION ! 

 

So the real question the dev staff would probably want to know from the community, is something like:

 

Would you, as a player of Big Bang Empire be willing to spend your hard earned and/or bought Diamonds on purchasing missing items to complete a COLLECTION?

 

• Notes are so much more plentiful in the game, I think most players will throw Notes at almost anything. myself included.

Mel25 has a good suggestion there. I seem to have no luck on trying to complete my collections.

Especially for the rewards on the duels. I've had over 20+ duels and only received one pair of shoes lol
They sure don't come easy!!!

I don't like the idea one bit.

If we'd have some protester-like revolutionary flag-waving smiley, I'd use it.

Mind you, this is coming from a "collector" of titles and collections etc.

The example you give, is a striking example for why I do NOT like the idea.

 

"Success is Sexy" is a collection you can only retrieve by completing the Dickstarter Successes 12-14-16 and so on. Meaning: you'd actually have to be active and succesful with those Dickstarter missions to get those items. Meaning: it would be an actual achievement to get them. Being able to buy that collection and most of all the "honorary" title that comes with it... just doesn't sound right. It's been done already with the purring maid and demon warrior outfits, I know. But those were totally separate collections. Perhaps it's best if it stays like that: separate collections who can be bought by those who don't mind it. But making them all obtainable through being bought... Meh.

Hi Analis, that is a very fair comment . It is an idea to help complete a Collection. I spend every day doing all the tasks and not often do I find anything to make me look better lol

A separate Collection, yes that is an idea, more options in Wandas Closet perhaps ?

Then yes, better to have  more collections In Wandas . Ty for your point of view.

@Mel, if there is a way to shoe horn a poll into an existing topic, I don't know how.  I looked around already, and didn't see a way to do it here.  My thoughts are the poll needed to be created at the same time during Topic Creation.

 

But I must say this is some lively discussion thus far....

 

... and the irony for a portion of this discussion is that all of the D-Starter successes can currently be bought with diamonds to complete them (if you so choose to spend that way).

Hi Mel, that much is true... but Collections aside, D-Starter tasks have been a mixed bag for me.

 

There's no way I can complete ALL the tasks in a day or a week when Temple Challenge states you should be working in another direction.  This just might be the kind of "team" vs "individual" decision-making the game devs where trying to thrust (no pun intended) upon us.

and we spend a lot of our own real life Notes to play BBE and not much of a return in rewards!!

It might help if instead of generic 'item' icon on the DS mission tab that it actually show the specific item. You know, like how it does for regular missions on the map?

So the item is clearly visible, and when you hover over the item *(using your mouse on a PC), it will show the stats?

Or the item is a mystery, and revealed after you hover but still does not show the stats?

Yes. That's what I meant, that it would be nice to just see it on hover, but I made that post before I realized that you can click and expand to see the item. So that works. The dickstarters are a new thing since I played a while back on a different character. I'm still getting used to the changes.

A few more weeks further on with Kickstarter task  and still only have 2 items form Success is Sexy, very disappointing. I do think it should be possible  to buy, at least items to complete ONE collection!!!!.... I have 9 unfinished collections !!!!!!

I have WAY MORE than NINE (9)... UNFINISHED.  

 

 I am starting to think the D-Starter and newer-ish Duel collections have been rather stingy by design and that we aren't suppose to capture these collections as quickly as they are tied to things that go on all the time, rather than a 'come and go' event like Easter or Luck of the Irish.

Perhaps Parties could give better items or give out only missing patterns.   ????

Parties, tend to be their own collections... but for some reason, I like this idea.

 

Maybe they could be won in the alternative victories (at random, still) and only in the sub-bosses levels.  It should be forwarded for suggestion, and maybe the devs would go for it and make it happen....
