How will the voting work in the BBE Awards? 

 

Will people be voting for members of their studio?

Big Bang Awards

 

On October 19th, 2015, the first Big Bang Awards are taking place. All 3 star rated films of the previous week automatically take part in the voting for the awards. If you have reached at least level 15, you can find the ballots on missions. Like party tickets, the ballots show up in the missions themselves, as well as on the map.

With every ballot you can vote one time. For the vote, two films are suggested which have qualified for the Big Bang Awards in the previous week and you choose, which one of the two suggested films you like best. For every time you vote, you get a little reward. The ballots are only valid during the current vote week.

The current film rankings and rewards are shown in the “Big Bang Awards” ranking list. At the end of every week the awards as well as the respective rewards for the top 100 films are distributed.

I've never seen a ballot on the map or in a mission reward.  I'm level 50-something.  What am I doing wrong?

It started 10/19/2015 and the votes will always be for the week before.

It will be a weekly thing as far as we have know so far.

I looked at the award section and everyone has one vote already?

I like this voting system; it means you design your cover to please a human, not an AI.  

 

I'm curious, though: Does voting more often mean that your own films show up more frequently to be voted on?

Has anyone else noticed... there are only 4 males in the top TWO HUNDRED for this reward.... Hmmmmm, also you can not change your gender to take advantage of this...

One other thing, we should be able to click on player and see who they are. There level, abilities, etc... If they are a threat to me at my level... don't want to vote for them and give them an advantage over me.

 

Found a flaw in voting. If you do more than one 3 star movie, you are placed multi times in voting. If you only do 1 three star movie, you get more chances at votes for just that one movie.

Like I said before, I have voted for a few guys and if friends pop up then I vote for them.

 

I don't give a crap if they are a higher level than me, good luck to them.

 

However some have come up who have constantly attacked me and they get zero votes from me.

 

Game or no game.

My serious response would be look at the ratio of male to female toons in the game and it may actually show that men are proportionally represented.

 

 

 

My not so serious response is......Boobs will always win out over abs and well you know.

Methinks that some bugs need worked out in the voting system.  It's a first attempt.  With time and input it should get better.

No, that would be the voters being "sexist".  Not the game.  The game merely gave the option to vote.
