Advent Calandar doesn't work!

I only got the "you're not logged in error" once, and I paraphrased that error message because I don't exactly recall what it said... but I did get it fixed.

 

These were the steps I took to correct the error and they just might work for you...

 

NOTE: I only play the Web Version on PC, so I cannot vouch for any other platform / device login errors...

 

 

 

Steps Taken for Resolution

 

1. When you first visit the forums, go to your profile page ("My Profile" page available via pull down menu, top right of screen)

 

2. If your Online Status shows as "Offline" refresh the screen.  (see yellow circle example below) 

 

3. If it changes to "Online" give the Advent Calendar tab a try (just right of the "Members" tab) and see if you can obtain the copy of the coupon code for the date / day of the month.

 

DATE DISCLAIMER: Your actual date may vary based on timezone...  ;-)

 

4. And if that doesn't work, please open a ticket.

Does not work! Keeps saying, "Error" login in again and still does not work. Getting screwed!!!!

Same here.  Did this last year too.  Some days it would work.  Other days it would keep making me log in over and over and over and over, but every time I tried to pick up the prize, it took me to the log in screen again.  Tech support just gave me a run around last year, so I'm betting the plan is to screw us around this year too.

today the advent calendar coupon did not give everything it advertised i only received part of the reward if this problem could be rectified i would be most grateful.the attached screen shot shows what i was supposed to recieve, i recieved everything but the cookies

I have a theory that the Advent Calendar will not let you have the reward if the date on the server is already the next day.

 

I tried to access the Advent Calendar yesterday when my local time was still Dec 3 but server time was already Dec 4th, but I got the error.

 

Today I am able to access the Advent Calendar because both my local time and server time both say Dec 4th.

I think like Dildoking said...I redeem on canlendar on each day depend on server times.

I found problem with flash not support only.

I will, but it is frustrating when the same problem occurred last year, and now again this year.

 

It is also frustrating when trouble tickets hardly ever get replied to.  I can sometimes wait, or try things, and maybe kick something lose--but rarely has a help ticket written back to say what went wrong, or more importantly, how to prevent it in the future.

 

I am sure they have multiple advent ticket trouble tickets by now--including the ones from 2015.  :(

My theory is the forum uses cookies that expire and makes it look like you are logged in when you are re-visiting the forum pages (because your username is remembered in the top right of the forum pages), but you aren't officially logged in until you refresh or log back in.  And until you do so, you cannot do any posting, or advent capturing.  Only reading is allowed (which is the same rights you would have as a guest).

PS: But now that I think about it, some of you are posting your troubles after the fact, so it might be a genuine problem.  Cookies aside.

I am not sure who marked this thread as 'answered' and it is a great reply. The problem is, it does not work for most of those experiencing the glitch. Based on players writing me and my own experience today. Not sure where the problem is but I'm sure someone smarter than me can fix it

 

 

Cleaning cookies did not work either
